It's my first time travelling with my friends and it's quite a long preparation; we booked the tickets way back January (It's a promo fare) and the flight is on July. I already applied for my vacation leave beforehand since I don't want any hindrances. xD
July 06, 2016 - CEBU to GENSAN Flight
I was working in Cebu back then so i needed to travel back to GenSan.
July 07, 2016 - GENSAN to ILOILO
We opted the ILOILO to BORACAY route since it's a cheaper way to get there.
From Iloilo City Airport, we rode a shuttle van to SM City. We ate our dinner at SM and grabbed some stuffs for our long travel to Caticlan the next day. We stayed at Urban Inn for the night. (If you are a first timer in Iloilo, I really recommend you to stay at Urban Inn, it's a great place and the staffs are very accommodating.)
Expenses for the Day:
July 08, 2016 - ILOILO to CATICLAN
CERES BUS: CATICLAN via KALIBO
After enjoying our breakfast at Urban Inn, we rode the JARO-LIKO-TAGBAK jeepney, this will take you to the CERES BUS TERMINAL. Take the CATICLAN via KALIBO bus, this has 2 stop-overs, one is for lunch and the other is at Kalibo, the journey will last for about 6-7hours.
There are two ports in Caticlan that goes to Boracay, one is the Caticlan Jetty Port (where the Ceres Bus will drop you), the other one is at Tabon Port (if the weather is not good, this is where you should be headed).
Since it rained on that day, we headed to Tabon Port and paid the neccessary fees. Boat ride to Boracay Island is 10mins.
We rode a tricycle from Boracay Port to Orchids Resort(Station 3) where we'll be staying.
Expenses for the Day:
For this day, we enjoyed the island hopping activity. We visited three different islands and enjoyed snorkeling and cliff jumping. Lunch is free during the activity.
Expenses for the Day:
We had three activities this day, parasailing, atv and the world-turning experience at G-MAXX.
Expenses for the Day:
Last stop before going home is ILOILO City, our original plan was to buy pasalubongs at SM City but the jeepney we rode dropped us to where JARO CATHEDRAL is. We grabbed the chance and visited the Cathedral, I also got the chance to light up some candles and thank God for the safe trip. This was my first time in the Cathedral so I made a wish. :)
Expenses for the Day:
Overall budget for the trip was: 5,593 ~ 6,000php.
