    TIPS:

1.) I recommend you to visit Kermit Resto (Italian resto, pricey pero worth it, GWAPITOS store is also located here)

2.) Rent a motorbike, mas matipid. Fare for each travel in a habal2x is 20pesos and night rate is at 50php, so it's better to rent and ride your own motorcycle.

3.) Every night is party night in Siargao. Ask the locals for the schedule of the parties.

4.) If you want to learn how to surf, i suggest you to hire a guide from Kermit, a one hour supervision is enough for you to learn (500 pesos). Then the next days, just rent a board (which is cheaper because you will not pay for a guide anymore, around 200-300 per day). You can surf all you want with this setup. It's more fulfilling if you ride on a wave just by yourself. Trust me. Haha

5.) The most famous surfing spot is at Jacking Horse which is just beside Cloud 9 but there are still lots of good surfing spots; again, just ask the locals. :)

6.) There are ATM machines in Dapa (also one ATM in General Luna) but most of the time they do not work with foreign ATM cards and credit cards. If you want to extend your stay in Siargao, like what we did by my SO, GL has Palawan Express, magpadala ka nalang ng pera from your family or friends.  Hahaha. Bayaran mo nalang pag uwi mo.

7.) Having extra cash is a must every travel, especially here in Siargao where ATMs are scarce.

7.) Be careful 'coz you might fall inlove with Siargao. Hahaha. I fell inlove with the island during my first day and had to extend my stay here. So be prepared! :)

VISIT AND BE AMAZED WITH SIARGAO! <3

    Watch my surfing experience here:

    Location:
     - Tupi, South Cotabato

The Blooming Petals is an agri-tourism park that showcases a mass of sunflowers which fascinated everyone who had seen it. It is located at a good area of land which is perfect for growing the flowers and vegetables.

Blooming Petals also offers affordable meals at their dining facilities and canteens to fill-up your hungry tummies after all the photo-ops with the sunflowers.

I really recommend you to visit this place to add up on your Instagram feed. A must-visit place if you are around south cotabato.

Visit them on their next plantation!

    HOW TO GET THERE:
       - Ride a bus from Bulaong Terminal. Take the YBL bus bound for Polomolok-Tupi-Marbel.

    Location:
    -Malungon, Sarangani Province

Finally had the time to pay a quick visit at the famous 360-degree view on top of the mountain here in Sarangani Province. Mt. Matutum, Mt. Apo and Mt. Parker are the peaks visible at the top.

We used a private car to visit the place but public vehicles can also reach it.

From GenSan, it took us almost an hour to reach  Malungon proper, another 15-20mins will be spent for the uphill ride.

There are many other ways to reach Kalon barak, one of the easiest way would be:
     - Ride a van (KCC Terminal) to Malungon.
     - Drop at the Petronas Gasoline Station.
     - Ride a habal-habal to the site.

The roads are under construction so the ride going to the site is bumpy. Travel time would be 15-20mins from Malungon proper.

We were lucky enough to witness a rainbow that time but i was too late to capture that moment. Haha

    Winds are colder uphill.

    EXPENSES:
      Fare:
           VAN: 50php/pax (back and forth) = 100phph
           HABAL2x: 50php/pax (back and forth) = 100php

      Entrance Fee: 20php(Adult); 10php(Children)

      TOTAL: 200~250php total budget.

    OTHER INFORMATIONS:
      -  There is a store at the top that sells food and souvenirs.
      -  You may also stay overnight at the top and witness the sunrise the next day, you may opt to bring your own tent or rent a tent with them.
            Tent Rental: 250-350php
Space rental (with own tent) : 100php

This was an unexpected trip but i always believe that unplanned trips are always the best. :)

    Location:
-Door 5 Autoville bldg., F. Torres St, Davao City, Davao del Sur

After following on instagram the Barkin Blends page, I've always wanted to visit pet cafes and play with the pets. Good thing is you don't need to go far to experience it because a dog cafe has recently opened in Davao City. Yup, that's right! Experience Barkin Blends just 3-hours away from your home (If you are around gensan area. haha!)

We paid the cafe a visit last July after attending a DevCon Seminar, it was just us when we came in since we arrived at the cafe early, they let the customer in to play with the pets at 1:00PM so we decided to take our lunch first.

The building has two parts: the cafe (where you can order and eat your meals and drinks) and the playroom (where the dogs are.) I really appreciated how the setup was, it was much more hygienic compared to those cafe's where you eat along with the pets.

The cafe offers affordable meals and packages which includes the entrance fee for the playroom. Price ranges from 80 - 300 pesos.

The playroom has rules you need to follow before playing with the pets: you must wear socks (bring your own, or buy a sock in the store), sanitize before you enter the room (they provide it), change into their indoor slippers and place your things inside the lockers where you got the slippers.

Time to play with the DOGGSSS!!

If you are stressed or depressed, you can visit this cafe for a dose of happiness. Visit there facebook page for more details.

Bantayan Island famously known as the home of Camp Sawi is located at the Northern part of Cebu. It can be reached through a three-hour bus ride and an hour and a half ferry ride. It's not a long trip if you want to have a relaxing vacation.

    TIPS:
    1.           Book a room using Booking.com, Agoda.com, Airbnb or Trivago.com which also have a mobile app. There are great deals with those apps. Ours was booked using Booking.com, got a room with a free breakfast deal.
    2.      Travelling in groups is much cheaper when you travel, travel with your friends or loved-ones.
    3.           For the inland tour, Paradise Beach is a must-go place, spend most of your time here rather than wasting your time at the Kota Beach (Camp Sawi --you can’t go inside the resort, they will just let you take a picture with the signage)
    4.           Also, octong cave is overrated. I was not really fascinated by the place. Fifty pesos entrance fee at Paradise beach is much worthy than the hundred pesos fee at the Ogtong Resort (though it already includes the usage of other facilities like swimming pool and the beach)
    5.           Learn how to drive a motorcycle/scooter, you can use a bicycle to tour the island but definitely the latter are more convenient.
    6.           Again, pack lightly (a backpack for your clothes and a sling bag for the important things)
    7.           Stay longer. You will appreciate more of the island if you do so.
    8.           Lastly, be friendly and act like locals.

THAT'S IT! ENJOY YOUR STAY IN BANTAYAN!
