TIPS:
1.) I recommend you to visit Kermit Resto (Italian resto, pricey pero worth it, GWAPITOS store is also located here)
2.) Rent a motorbike, mas matipid. Fare for each travel in a habal2x is 20pesos and night rate is at 50php, so it's better to rent and ride your own motorcycle.
3.) Every night is party night in Siargao. Ask the locals for the schedule of the parties.
4.) If you want to learn how to surf, i suggest you to hire a guide from Kermit, a one hour supervision is enough for you to learn (500 pesos). Then the next days, just rent a board (which is cheaper because you will not pay for a guide anymore, around 200-300 per day). You can surf all you want with this setup. It's more fulfilling if you ride on a wave just by yourself. Trust me. Haha
5.) The most famous surfing spot is at Jacking Horse which is just beside Cloud 9 but there are still lots of good surfing spots; again, just ask the locals. :)
6.) There are ATM machines in Dapa (also one ATM in General Luna) but most of the time they do not work with foreign ATM cards and credit cards. If you want to extend your stay in Siargao, like what we did by my SO, GL has Palawan Express, magpadala ka nalang ng pera from your family or friends. Hahaha. Bayaran mo nalang pag uwi mo.
7.) Having extra cash is a must every travel, especially here in Siargao where ATMs are scarce.

7.) Be careful 'coz you might fall inlove with Siargao. Hahaha. I fell inlove with the island during my first day and had to extend my stay here. So be prepared! :)
VISIT AND BE AMAZED WITH SIARGAO! <3
Location:
- Tupi, South Cotabato
The Blooming Petals is an agri-tourism park that showcases a mass of sunflowers which fascinated everyone who had seen it. It is located at a good area of land which is perfect for growing the flowers and vegetables.

The Blooming Petals is an agri-tourism park that showcases a mass of sunflowers which fascinated everyone who had seen it. It is located at a good area of land which is perfect for growing the flowers and vegetables.
Blooming Petals also offers affordable meals at their dining facilities and canteens to fill-up your hungry tummies after all the photo-ops with the sunflowers.
I really recommend you to visit this place to add up on your Instagram feed. A must-visit place if you are around south cotabato.
Visit them on their next plantation!

Location:
-Malungon, Sarangani Province
Finally had the time to pay a quick visit at the famous 360-degree view on top of the mountain here in Sarangani Province. Mt. Matutum, Mt. Apo and Mt. Parker are the peaks visible at the top.
We used a private car to visit the place but public vehicles can also reach it.
From GenSan, it took us almost an hour to reach Malungon proper, another 15-20mins will be spent for the uphill ride.
There are many other ways to reach Kalon barak, one of the easiest way would be:
- Ride a van (KCC Terminal) to Malungon.
- Drop at the Petronas Gasoline Station.
- Ride a habal-habal to the site.
The roads are under construction so the ride going to the site is bumpy. Travel time would be 15-20mins from Malungon proper.
We were lucky enough to witness a rainbow that time but i was too late to capture that moment. Haha
Winds are colder uphill.
EXPENSES:
Fare:
VAN: 50php/pax (back and forth) = 100phph
HABAL2x: 50php/pax (back and forth) = 100php
Entrance Fee: 20php(Adult); 10php(Children)
TOTAL: 200~250php total budget.
OTHER INFORMATIONS:
- There is a store at the top that sells food and souvenirs.
- You may also stay overnight at the top and witness the sunrise the next day, you may opt to bring your own tent or rent a tent with them.
Tent Rental: 250-350php
Space rental (with own tent) : 100php
This was an unexpected trip but i always believe that unplanned trips are always the best. :)
